The Mountain West Credit Union Association, in coordination with the Center for Credit Union Leadership, has announced the completion of its 2015 Leadership Institute.
Thirty credit union leaders earned leadership certificates in the comprehensive training program.
The Credit Union Leadership Institute trains upcoming credit union leaders in areas including: exemplifying organizational values, problem solving, empowering others, workplace prioritization, coaching, time management and setting and measuring goals. This four-session, comprehensive leadership training program, now in its fifth year of operations, has trained more than 125 new leaders from 44 credit unions in Arizona, Colorado, and Wyoming.
“These bright, newly trained credit union leaders represent the true meaning of our people helping people philosophy,” said Dr. Dan Santangelo, executive director of the Mountain West Credit Union Foundation, in a released statement.
Leadership Scholarships for 2016
Mountain West Credit Union Foundation is excited to announce that we will provide 15 partial scholarships to help fund the next generation of credit union leaders as they participate in the 2016 Leadership institute. This, the sixth year of the Institute, will be limited to 10 to 15 non-CEO participants. The tuition is $3,300 and will consist of four, 2-day sessions.
