A cooperative, values-based leadership approach is at the heart of the Credit Union philosophy. This truth is just one of the reasons why the Foundation was established to support the development...
It’s a gorgeous Rocky Mountain morning in July. The sun is shining, a gentle breeze is coming off the Rockies, and there’s not a cloud in the sky. It’s also a Tuesday, and are you at work? Why, no. No, you’re not. You’re standing on the fairway getting ready to tee off.
If spending a Tuesday in July on the golf course is an idea you can get behind, I’ve got some great news for you. The Denver Area Chapter of Credit Unions golf tournament is on Tuesday, July 11th, and you are invited to join us!
Not only is this your chance to spend a Tuesday playing the pristine Arrowhead Golf Club, it’s an opportunity to support the work of the Mountain West Credit Union Foundation.
The Denver Chapter is Proud to Host This Year’s Tournament
The Mountain West Credit Union Foundation exists to promote leadership development and long-term success of credit unions in their communities. It accomplishes this through a variety of leadership initiatives that are generously funded through fund raising opportunities such as this tournament.
The Denver Chapter is honored to play a part in raising funds for scholarships and grants that support the development of our Credit Union leaders. Also, not going to lie, we’re pretty excited about spending a day at Arrowhead.
Located in the Rocky Mountain foothills in Littleton, Arrowhead Golf Club is one of the most beautiful championship courses in the country. The course is one of the top 10 most-photographed golf courses in the world, has been voted the #1 public golf course in the Denver area, as well as one of America’s “Top 75 Public Courses” by Golf Digest.
Funds raised through the tournament will go directly to programs that help our movement thrive and lead through economic hardships and changes, such as the Credit Union Leadership Institute, the Chief Executive Institute, Executive Leadership Program and a variety of other scholarships and grants that support our credit unions and the people in our communities.
Support a great cause by playing 18 holes on an award winning course? Ok, ok… If I have to.
