Just imagine… it’s the perfect spring day in Colorado. The temperature is a gorgeous 80 degrees, there are leaves on the trees and the flowers are beginning to bloom. The combination of warm sun and a light breeze is downright blissful. It’s the kind of day you’ve been longing for all winter long. You are standing on a perfectly manicured green, golf club in hand, visualizing the perfect tee shot. You approach the tee, align your club, swing, and watch the ball soar through the air, landing in perfect position to set you up for a birdie. It’s going to be a great day.
What could be better than a long game of golf at the Broadmoor in April? Knowing that your day on the coarse is supporting the growth and sustainability of the Credit Union movement, that’s what.
The annual golf tournament during Mountain West Credit Union Association’s Annual Meeting and Convention raises funds for scholarships and grants that support the development of Credit Union leaders. Funds raised will go directly to programs that help our movement thrive and lead through economic hardships and changes, such as the Credit Union Leadership Institute and the Chief Executive Institute. Over the years, programs such as these have been extremely successful in developing many of our most successful Credit Union leaders.
This year’s tournament is nearly full, but there is still time to sign up, either as a player or a sponsor.
Sponsorships currently still available include:
- Golf Cart Sponsorship
- Golf Ball Sponsorship
- Golf Tees Sponsorship
- Longest Drive Sponsorship
- Longest Putt Sponsorship
- Closet to the Pin Sponsorship
The tournament will take place on April 21st at the Broadmoor Golf Club. For more information about this event and to register, please visit the Tournament Event Page.
Happy golfing, and thank you for supporting the Credit Union movement!
